What happens with my resume once I submit it to Sapphire Technologies?
When you submit your resume to Sapphire Technologies, it will be automatically uploaded into our candidate database. One of our qualified recruitment consultants, who specialises in the types of roles you are looking for, will contact you within 24 hours (Monday to Friday) to discuss your individual needs. We will then schedule a face-to-face interview at the Sapphire Technologies office nearest you. At this interview, we will confirm your experience and background and your job search criteria and put together a marketing plan tailored to your individual career requirements. Your recruitment consultant will become your main point of contact for all job search activities.

Will my resume be sent out to potential companies without my consent?
No. On every occasion your recruitment consultant will contact you to gauge your interest in a position, provide a full role and company briefing and gain your consent prior to forwarding your resume for consideration.

I am interested in finding a new position but don't want my current employer to find out. How is this handled?
This is a very common concern. We are accustomed to handling your individual situation in a very discrete manner. At our initial meeting, we will discuss your requirements and confirm appropriate communication channels. We will need to conduct reference checks prior to any placement but we will always gain your consent.

How long does it take to find an assignment?
After your initial meeting, the process can be very fast. The length of time will, however, vary based on your skills, requirements and current market conditions.

I am an independent consultant, why would I use Sapphire Technologies?

I am unable to complete my contract assignment, how much notice do I need to provide and who do I contact?
Sapphire Technologies' contract with you stipulates that you are required to provide four weeks' notice of your intention to end a contract assignment. We do, however, understand that extenuating circumstances may arise, so it is important for you to contact your recruitment consultant as soon as possible.

My contract is ending and I need to start looking for another. Who do I contact?
You can contact your recruitment consultant as early as 6 to 8 weeks prior to the conclusion of your contract assignment and we will start looking for your next great opportunity.
