Anna Saunders - Account Manager, Wellington

Anna Saunders joined Sapphire Technologies in March 2006 as a Candidate Manager in the Auckland office, bringing to the role a strong background in hospitality.

In August 2006, Anna transferred to the Wellington office and was promoted to the position of Account Manager in January 2007. We talk to Anna to get her feedback on her career highlights with Sapphire Technologies.

What was your role when you first started at Sapphire Technologies and what is your current role? Explain the journey.
I have been with Sapphire Technologies since March 2006. Initially I was in a Candidate Manager position and I made the transition to Account Manager from January this year. I am now training to become a Team Leader in the Wellington office and hope to move into this from July. So the opportunity to develop and grow as an individual with Sapphire Technologies is huge.

What has made you stay with Sapphire Technologies in your career so far?
I believe that it is the supportive and encouraging work environment, and good work life balance that has got me thus far. Being provided with the right tools and training at Sapphire Technologies helps us to perform at our best.

Do you feel Sapphire Technologies encourages people to achieve their potential?
Yes I do. I look at how I have developed since I began with Sapphire Technologies last year and do not believe that I would have had this opportunity anywhere else. People here recognise your potential and with this backing, you can go a long way.
